Be Part of the Green

Be Part of the Green is a campaign co-created for the social good by TİSK, Türk-İş (Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions) and Hak-İş (Trade Union Confederation) and coordinated by TİSK. Its digital infrastructure is affiliated with Tohum Education, Culture and Nature Society known for its collaborations with the General Directorate of Forestry and other project experiences. With this project, “every year at least 2 million young trees for 2 million workers” will be planted in the bosom of the earth. In full awareness of the climate change posing a great threat to our planet, this nationwide tree planting campaign was initiated as the most effective method to combat this issue. For the purpose of starting as soon as today and ensure its sustainability, TİSK processes tree planting requests of all social partners via the Be Part of the Green website built in coordination with the “Fidanla” (Plant a Tree) Project.
